No Longer Creating For My YouTube Channel

YouTube is rolling out new rules for AI content, including a requirement that creators reveal whether they’ve used generative artificial intelligence to make realistic looking videos.”

Ok, YouTube. I mean, it would stand to reason I ONLY have to disclose parody, but apparently you’re going to lump me with deep fakes with ill intent to mislead people instead of using tech tools to creativity tell the truth in an ocean (or should I say C:>) of lies. I mean, I’ve only been creating for you for 20 years, including being the start up for a now popular tech channel that was once some of most comprehensive classic Tandy 1000 hardware and software video tutorials/demos on the web, and yet, you have never let me earn a dime as you raise the goalposts every time I am close to monetization. I mean, you only censor the ever living !@#$ out of everything and shadow ban people if they fart in such a way that doesn’t bow to the mainstream.

People flocked to you, YouTube, because you were different than television. Better. More real. Those days are long over, and I’m ashamed I was ever part of the original collective that helped you grow to begin with. So when it comes to posting original content to YouTube (outside of teasers) I’m out. I’m going to build for myself right here on my own platform.
